The 28 color plates reproduced in this book were created by artist and educator Pedro J. Lemos, and originally published in a limited run loose-leaf folio in the 1920s by The School Arts Magazine, Worcester, Mass.Lemos included only designs he felt were expressive of good typical forms in their periods and showed good design principles.
