Synopsis

A perfect book for all young lovers of history!It has been months now since Cassidy and Jay first joined the Agency and completed their first mission: traveling back in time to ancient Egypt to save the Egyptian army from disaster at the Battle of Kadesh. Since then, they have heard nothing from any of their contacts within the organization. Now, as they prepare to transition to high school, they both begin to wonder whether they will ever hear anything. Then, suddenly, they are thrust back into another mission. This time they find themselves sent back to ancient Greece to just before the Battle of Marathon that pitted the Greek forces against the might of the Persian Empire. But this time, with two city-states in play, something goes wrong and both Jay and Cassidy are forced to think on their own. While Jay struggles to make the long journey from Athens to Sparta, Cassidy tangles with a future queen of Sparta who is anything but hospitable. In this second installment of the series, Cassidy and Jay have to go back to save the cradle of democracy from certain doom. But, it will not be easy. This mission will test the limits of their mental and physical stamina. If they can succeed, the Greeks will again prevail and history will be saved. If not, then the fledgling Greek city-states are destined to be plunged into darkness once more.
