A place your your child to write down any worries or anxieties they're having, but which they would find easier to communicate with you, (or another trusted adult) when written down.

There is also space for you to reply and give the journal back to them, so there can be some back and forth communication.

Growing up can come with many challenges - but even more so, for those children who have conditions such as; anxiety, autism, Adhd, depression or mood related disorders.

Creating a safe space where your child or teen can express their feelings, can be a great way to open a path of communication between you and them.

The book contains two pages where your child can write down how they are feeling, and another two pages where you can respond.

On page one -

• Your child can circle the face relating most to their mood and start describing their worry/anxiety.
• On the second page, there is space to doodle about it, (if they feel like it) & rate their anxiety from 1 to 10.
• At the bottom of the second page, is a place where they can suggest something that MAY potentially help them through these negative feelings.

The next two pages are simply lined pages, where you can respond to their worries/concerns and then return the journal to them after.

From here on, you may choose to then talk about the issue face to face.
