Synopsis

In the years between 2002 and 2003, I had come across some diving magazines, in which there were various reportages including one on the famous wreck sunk in Portofino in 1967, where I have visited several times in immersion.

The photos were always the same that I had seen in other magazines, but the story somehow different, many things did not coincide, so I decided to start looking for what had happened in that period. I began to consult various sites on the Internet, but they were all summary information, so I remembered that at a well-known library in Genoa, there are deposited copies of local newspapers and among these also those referring to the year 1967.

I read a lot of copies from ‘65 to ‘67, then I started to find the first news, and from there I identified with extreme certainty the date of the sinking and the publication of the news in the newspapers
