Synopsis
It’s 1968 in New York City: a time of great change in the life of an estranged newcomer to the city, Nicholas Carlyle, a 22-year old writer. His journey begins when he is fired from his first job in the city, ghost writing a memoir for a dying, but unethical and illicit judge. Throughout the days and weeks that follow, memories, dreams and entanglements with those from his past and present will alter and change his life forever.
When he arrives at his second job as a greeter at the Chateau Navarre, an elegant French restaurant in the heart of Manhattan’s east side, all his doubts and questions regarding his origin and identity will be answered. He will discover it takes a long walk back to find what lies ahead.
