Elliot H. Kallen is an Independent Financial Advisor and the founder of Prosperity Financial Group, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisory Firm. Elliot brings over 25 years of entrepreneurial business ownership experience to Prosperity’s financial planning and advising practice. Elliot is a keynote speaker on motivation and marketing in the independent financial advisor industry. He also spotlights industry veterans who share their expertise on his podcast, Meet the Expert with Elliot Kallen®.

Elliot’s practice focuses on entrepreneurs, business owners, retirees, and millennials. He advises on retirement and estate planning, employee benefit planning, insurance and risk management and investment planning programs. Elliot was awarded membership in International Who’s Who of Professionals for 2000 and again in 2007. He holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Accounting and Economics from Rutgers University in New Jersey and serves on several boards of nonprofit and philanthropic organizations.

He holds Series 7-, 24-, 63-, 65- and 66-licenses to offer securities. Since 1993, Elliot has been licensed to offer insurance and annuities underwritten by a wide variety of the nation’s insurers.

Currently, Elliot is President of A Brighter Day, a 501(c)(3) Charity he founded in memory of his youngest son. This charity works to help teens and young adults understand, protect, and maintain their mental health. Elliot formerly served as Board President, and is still actively involved with The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Diablo Valley. Elliot has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for this organization, which is on the front lines in providing athletic, social and cultural programs to the children of Diablo Valley. Elliot is also active with The Fallen Heroes Charity. He is also a former President of Congregation B’nai Shalom.

Elliot is the proud father of two adult children, stepfather to two adult children and a grandfather. He and his wife reside in Lafayette, CA.
