How do you make it through fifty years of marriage, when our culture doesn't value commitment? Young, broke and naive. That's how our marriage began 50 years ago. We had no clue where we were going or how to get there. We've traveled through the highs and lows of life. I'll bet you have too. When unexpected twists, and turns entered our course in life, we felt vulnerable and unprepared. It would've been easier to let go and move on.
Then when life seemed to be going so well, BOOM, it happens again! Another storm moved in and rocked our world. Our faith has been tried and tested, and it remains the glue in our marriage. Who or what is holding your life together?
Our 50 years of marriage is a testament to knowing the Perfect Navigator. Without God in the lead, our vision and priorities become blurred. When you can't see clearly, it's easy to take the wrong exit. But, when we slow down, stay in our lane, focus on the road map, we'll get to our destination. God has never lead us astray, NEVER!
Please travel with me through my life and be encouraged.
