Synopsis
In our bilingual picture book, Daisy Finds a Home, a gentle, brown and black stray tells her story of homelessness out on the street, with no family, no food, and nowhere to sleep. All she wants is an owner to love. With every passerby, she pulls out her best "puppy moves" and desperately hopes someone will take her home. A man strolling by kicks her as many do. A little girl wants to play, but her mother thinks that Daisy is much too dirty to claim. And when a guy in a white truck stops, Daisy has high hopes that she will finally get a ride to a real house, and maybe even a name.. To her surprise, she ends up in the back of his vehicle with other howling dogs and on her way to a place they call a "shelter." Will anyone ever want to give Daisy a home?
