Synopsis
The Hidden Worlds Trilogy is a compilation of books 4 through 6 of The McGunnegal Chronicles, an Irish/Celtic/Norse fantasy series filled with clean, fun adventures for all ages of readers.
In the first three books of the series (Into a Strange Land, Taming the Goblin, and The Witch and the Waking Tree) it is 1846 in Ireland. Two young people discover that Grandpa has been hiding a secret down in the potato cellar - a relic of a lost age that transports them into the land of the Others. The strange and marvelous creatures of Irish and Celtic legends lurk between the pages of these incredible stories - leprechauns, goblins, fairies, and much more.
In this second trilogy, Colleen, Frederick, and the McGunnegals are whisked away on new and perilous journeys, encountering other-worldly secrets hidden in the nooks and crannies and in-between places that are only whispered of in fireside tales and legends.
But they also discover something more - a mad dwarf named Fafnir has seemingly risen out of the past, and he has embroiled Colleen and Frederick in his dark plan to change the world. Professor McPherson has also been hiding a secret - something which shakes Frederick to his very heart and soul.
