Synopsis

Have you ever wondered what pastors are thinking? This book lets the reader look inside the mind of a pastor. It contains personal stories about his life. In this book you’ll read about some journal entries from Rev. Miller while he attended Point Loma Nazarene University in pursuit of his master’s degree. The typical pastor spends lots of time thinking, researching and praying so he/she can deliver a 30-minute message once a week.
The main takeaway you’ll receive is that pastors are people too. They have good days and bad days. They go through emotional ups and downs. They sometimes argue with God and ask Him some of the same questions that laypersons do. They have days of doubts and fears. And many resign and leave fulltime ministry position every year.
People are people and we all need each other to survive in this thing we call life. You will also read about the sweet and special times when God reveals himself to his servants and gives them words to speak to his children. Who knows after reading this book you may feel moved to pursue a call that received years ago to enter fulltime ministry? This book will inspire, teach and encourage you as you journey with pastor John Eugene Miller inside the mind of a pastor.
