Synopsis

Inspired by the impending birth of his first child and heir, King Lixin decides it’s time for his kingdom to evolve along with human society by abandoning the patriarchal social system that has shaped much of the supernatural world for thousands of years. However, when he announces his intentions, the reaction is far worse than anticipated.

As word spreads throughout the pride lands tensions mount, leaving the mountain village divided and the king despairing over his failed attempts to restore peace and rumors of a looming uprising led by his own brother. Fearing for the future of his pride and his family, King Lixin makes a decision no one should ever contemplate.

Will his plan work, or will his sacrifice be all for nothing?

If you like emotional stories about love, sacrifice, heartbreak, and sibling rivalry, you will love Obsidian’s Fall.
