This book is a thoughtful memoir of a 75-year-old, lifelong educator’s reflection on life’s paths, both wide and narrow. Despite major health setbacks in his 60’s, he has remained a teacher and leads an active life.
Peter, my former teaching colleague and longtime friend, is a man of diverse interests and talents. His broad life experiences—serving in the Peace Corps, teaching in Guadeloupe, battling lymphoma, adjusting to life after a severe spinal cord injury, have enabled Peter to see the world through a much broader lens than most. In this memoir, he shares his insights, ideas, and well- formed opinions in an engaging, straightforward way.
