Synopsis

BANNED! THE GREAT BRITISH CIRCUS. Featuring many colour photos of Britain's best animal circus throughout the first decade of the millennium, this is the story of Martin Lacey's Great British Circus. Impending legislation by the U.K. government forced the Circus to close in 2012. Martin Lacey is a controversial figure, who had a magic touch with exotic animals, like lions and tigers. Martin has created his own ‘Lacey Legacy for Animal Care’, which has been passed to his family members who continue to care for animals. To remain silent about the welfare of animals is not an option for Martin, “The wildlife of the world is not for us to squander and abuse, but it is left in trust with us for future generations.”
