Synopsis

Death has fractured our heroes.

For some, they hurry to find a solution: the priests of Sol. Death is only a minor setback for someone with enough gold to donate to the church.

But war is afoot, and another life is in peril. Will Avax choose between his family, his friends, or his new lover? Battle lines are drawn, and our prince is pulled at from all sides.

Elsewhere, in the heart of a jungle, Grondel finds both expected and unexpected allies. For an orc warchief at the end of his life, is peace really an option?

In an effort to help others but also find herself, Aluna aids a rebellion. The scholarly, altruistic, and noble ideas that she has surrounded herself with come into conflict with stark reality. The choices she makes will change her forever.

To add to their troubles, an ancient truce is broken, threatening to engulf the continent in yet another war.

There is a glimmer of hope, but it lies in: unity.
