Synopsis
"Dragonflies & Demons" is a captivating book about a California woman who grew up in a complex environment between two families: one of love, the other of chaos. She falls into drugs later in her life where she leads an unwelcomed life of living on the streets, away from her family and in/out of jail. Till finally an opportunity arose to seek real help and discovers peace away on a mountain deep in Dover, Pa. where she meets God on a new level and together, she is transformed. She returns home to her dying father only to promise him that she will continue to make him proud after his departure. Although her heart is broken from losing her father, the one person who was always there for her, she remains sober and begins to form a beautiful life for herself. She discovers a completely new spirituality & faith, unlike that of her childhood religious upbringing. This brings the main character to her new path of existence; that of helping others through her struggles & experiences. The joy of her journey has allowed this California woman, filled with strength and tenacity to venture forward on her quest to share her trials, so others can learn from her mistakes. This true story is beautifully written where many will relate and find their own hope forward.
