Synopsis

Twelve-year-old Josephine "Jo" Matthews, who possesses the ability to communicate with animals, lives in a tree house in the woods with her horse, River, and other animal companions. Their tranquil life is shattered when poachers threaten the local eagle population. Driven by her deep connection with River and her love for animals, Jo embarks on a daring adventure to stop the poachers.

Their journey is fraught with peril as they navigate treacherous terrain, including dense forests and rushing rivers, enlisting the aid of various animals along the way. Jo's unique ability proves invaluable in securing assistance and understanding the poachers' plans. The climax involves a courageous confrontation where Jo and River, using their wits and bravery, outsmart the poachers, leading to their capture and the successful rescue of the endangered eagles.
