Synopsis
Welcome to Adventures Simplified, an ultra slimmed down version of D20 adventure roleplaying that is designed specifically for solo play. Randomized tables, a few dice, and your IMAGINATION, power your adventures.
The game is simple. You play as a character in your own adventure. Whenever you attempt something that could fail, roll a D20 (twenty-sided dice) and add your Skill Mod. Try and roll a 15 or better to succeed.
This Basic Rules Book is designed as the base to build many genres, worlds, and stories upon. While you can certainty play with just these generic basics presented here, you can also pick out genre specific “Adventure Add-Ons” to fit your tastes.
Think of this book like a “video game system” or computer and the genre expansion books like the specific games you buy to play using said game system.
