Synopsis
A fire breaks out in a small Turkish village, a car explodes in a Parisian cemetery, and a violent prisoner makes a daring escape from a Welsh prison. What could this possibly have to do with John and Ann Beaton, a couple from Washington State heading south to winter in Florida?
Perhaps it’s because the escaped prisoner is Jones. And Jones is angry. And Jones is bored. He’s also hell-bent on revenge. Face it: he wouldn’t have spent a day in prison if not for those pesky Beatons.
Back in Florida, John hopes to recover from a recent illness and Ann hopes to catch up on her reading. Both are looking forward to rest and relaxation. Jones, however, has other plans for the two.
