Artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping education systems worldwide, and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions are emerging as a distinctive area for innovation. Faced with a young, digitally connected population, national visions for knowledge-based economies, MENA countries are integrating AI into education in a socioeconomic context. From adaptive learning platforms and Arabic-language AI tools to data policymaking and teacher support systems, these initiatives highlight how regional priorities shape technological adoption. Examining AI in MENA education systems therefore offers insights not only into local innovation, but also into global implications for equity. AI in MENA Education Systems: Local Innovations and Global Implications explores how AI is reshaping education systems within the MENA regions. It examines AI adoption within the context of regional priorities and policies. Covering topics such as global studies, education systems, and AI, this book is an excellent resource for researchers, academicians, educators, technology developers, policy makers, and graduate students.
