About the Authors

Amina El Yaagoubi is a Lecturer-Researcher in Mathematics and Computer Science at JUNIA ― HEI · ISEN · ISA, Catholic University of Lille, France. She holds a double Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science, jointly awarded by Le Havre Normandy University (France) and Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University (Morocco). Prior to her current position, she held several postdoctoral research roles at Le Havre Normandy University, where she contributed to national and European research projects focused on logistics and transportation systems. Her expertise lies in combinatorial and multi-objective optimization, operations research, mathematical programming, and quantum computing. She has published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and book chapters. Dr. El Yaagoubi is a member of several professional networks, including the European Working Group on Multiple Criteria Decision Aiding (EWG-MCDA), the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC), and the Moroccan Association for Operational Research and Decision Aid (ROADEM). She is regularly involved in academic service, acting as a reviewer for international journals and serving on organizing and scientific committees of various international conferences such as ROADEM, CoDIT, SIL, GOL and AICSET. She is also Guest Editor for the upcoming special issue “Resilient and Sustainable Solutions for Multimodal Transport in Supply Chains” in Multimodal Transportation (Elsevier). Her work bridges theoretical innovation and real-world applications, particularly in transport and logistics optimization.

El Bouzekri El Idrissi ADIBA is an Accredited Senior Lecturer at the National School of Applied Sciences (ENSA) of Chouaib Doukkali University in El Jadida, Morocco. Member of the Laboratory of Engineering Sciences for Energy (LabSIPE) and leads the 'Mechanics and Civil Engineering' research team within ENSAJ. Holds a PhD in Operations Research and Computer Science from the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez, Morocco. • Research activities focus on several innovative themes, • Modeling and Optimization of the Hydrogen Supply Chain, • Modeling and Optimization of the Logistics Chain Interconnected by the Physical Internet, • Modeling and Optimization of Green and Sustainable Vehicle Routing Problems (Hydrogen/Electric/Multi-Trip), • Design and development of an intelligent robot for worker safety in the mining and chemical industries, • Design and Integration of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), • Risk Management in the mining and chemical industrial environment. Possesses strong skills in modeling and solving combinatorial optimization models. Leading, with Professor ASSIF S., an ambitious project entitled: “Development of advanced industrial robots to improve personnel safety: towards a sustainable mining and chemical industry.” This project, part of the Chouaib Doukkali University's Progrès 2024 program, aims to design innovative robotic technologies to enhance safety in high-risk industrial environments.

Safa Assif Associate Professor at the National School of Applied Sciences of El Jadida (ENSAJ), part of Chouaib Doukkali University. Member of the Laboratory of Engineering Sciences for Energy (LabSIPE) and heads the “Mechanics and Civil Engineering” research team at ENSAJ. Holder of two doctorates in mechanical engineering, one from the Mohammadia School of Engineering (EMI) in Rabat and the other from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) in Rouen, France, she has multidisciplinary expertise combining mechanical and biomechanical engineering, Energy, and robotics. Co-project leader, with Professor Adiba El Bouzekri El Idrissi, of an ambitious project entitled: “Development of advanced industrial robots to improve personnel safety: towards a sustainable mining and chemical industry.” This project, part of Chouaib Doukkali University's Progress 2024 program, aims to design innovative robotic technologies to enhance safety in high-risk industrial environments.
