Dr. Neethu Asokan is a distinguished microbiologist, researcher, and educator with expertise in industrial microbiology, gut microbiome, microbial biotechnology, bioenergy, natural products and environmental microbiology. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Life Sciences at Sri Satya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE), India, she specializes in several areas of life sciences like biobutanol production from sago spent waste, focusing on fermentation optimization, pretreatment strategies, and economic feasibility. Her research extends into microbial and nano-biotechnology, bioremediation, algal biotechnology, and medical microbiology, including antibiotic resistance and psychomicrobiology. With a strong background in teaching and mentoring, she has guided multiple graduate students, supervised research projects, and contributed significantly to the scientific community through publications, book chapters, and patents. She is also an active member of various professional societies and has been recognized with multiple awards for her contributions. Passionate about sustainability and innovation, Dr. Neethu's work integrates scientific research with real-world applications to advance bioenergy, environmental sustainability, and microbial-based solutions for healthcare and agriculture.
Prof. Dr. Abdel Rahman Mohammad Said Al-Tawaha is a distinguished professor of plant ecophysiology at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, Jordan. He earned his Ph.D. in Plant Science from McGill University, Canada. His research spans plant physiology, crop productivity, sustainable agriculture, and the use of natural elicitors for enhancing plant growth. He has published over 500 scholarly articles and books, with more than 7,000 citations. Dr. Al-Tawaha also serves as Editor-in-Chief of Advances in Environmental Biology and contributes extensively to international research collaborations and academic leadership. His work significantly advances the understanding of Mediterranean plant ecology and agricultural sustainability.
Dr. Santosh Kumar Singh is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Life Sciences at Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE) in Kalaburagi, Karnataka. He also serves as the university's IQAC Coordinator. Holding an M.Sc. and D.Phil in Life Sciences, Dr. Singh specializes in plant tissue culture, phytochemistry, molecular markers (RAPD, ISSR, AFLP), and antioxidant studies. His research prominently features medicinal plants, including species like Ocimum and Acmella oleracea. With over 40 publications and more than 550 citations, he actively mentors Ph.D. scholars and contributes to interdisciplinary research in plant biotechnology and conservation.
Dr. Rajeshwari Ullagaddi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Life Sciences at Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE) in Kalaburagi, Karnataka. She specializes in phytochemistry, nutraceuticals, and functional foods, focusing on their roles in combating oxidative stress and promoting health.
