About the Authors

Behnam Aghayani is an independent researcher in Applied Linguistics from Kermanshah, Iran. With a strong commitment to advancing the field, he has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, books, and conference papers, which have been published in prestigious international journals and presented at leading conferences. Since 2016, he has been an active member of the editorial review boards of several prestigious journals. His publications have appeared in notable journals such as the MEXTESOL Journal, Asian Journal of Applied Linguistics, and The Reading Matrix: An International Online Journal. Currently, he serves as an Associate Editor of the MEXTESOL Journal, further contributing to the dissemination of high-quality research in the field of applied linguistics. His work focuses on various aspects of language teaching and learning, with a particular interest in the integration of positive psychology principles to enhance the educational experience for both students and teachers. His research and editorial contributions continue to influence and inspire the global applied linguistics community.

Hassan Soleimani is an Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics at Payame Noor University (PNU), Tehran, Iran. Dr. Soleimani received his Ph. D. in applied linguistics from Isfahan University in 2008. He has authored several books including Computer Assisted Language Learning: Theory and Practice (PNU University Press) in 2021, Non-parametric Statistics for Applied Linguistics Research in 2010, a chapter in Issues in Materials Development by Sense Publishers, the Netherlands, in 2016. He is currently co-editor of Positive Psychology and Foreign Language Teaching by IGI Global Scientific Publishing to be released in 2026. He is the author of several articles and has presented some papers at international conferences. His special interests are SLA issues in general and Computer Assisted Language Learning in particular. He is presently teaching Computer Assisted Language Learning, Materials Development, and First Language Acquisition at the PNU Ph.D. post-graduate school and Tehran University.
