As global crises like climate change, pandemics, and economic instability reshape societies, the need for resilient, supportive environments for aging populations becomes urgent. Sustainable neighborhood resources are critical when promoting successful aging. These resources support physical health and mobility while fostering social inclusion, mental well-being, and independence among older adults. Leveraging neighborhood sustainability offers a practical, community-based approach to aging that aligns with broader goals of environmental and public health. As the global population ages, rethinking the design and utilization of local resources may ensure older adults thrive during global crises. Using Sustainable Neighborhood Resources for Successful Aging Amidst Global Crises explores how sustainable neighborhood resources contribute to the health, independence, and well-being of aging populations. It examines how these strategies enhance resilience and support successful aging amidst global crises. This book covers topics such as medical care, public health and welfare, and risk management, and is a useful resource for business owners, sociologists, policymakers, public health officials, academicians, researchers, and scientists.
