Synopsis
When Willow and her mother relocate from the arid landscapes of New Mexico to the dense forests of Conry, New York, they leave behind more than just their home—they step into a world teeming with secrets and supernatural beings. Conry isn't your typical small town; its population is dominated by werewolves, each with their own hidden stories and complex lives.
Willow's mother is an ordinary human, but her late father carried the werewolf gene, a legacy he passed down to her. The story was fast-paced and was packed full of action. From the very beginning, I was engrossed and could not stop turning the pages. With all the unexpected twists and turns, I was always uncertain about what would happen next. The events were vividly described, making it easy to imagine what was unfolding. The characters felt authentic and relatable, even the creatures. The personalities of the creatures were akin to humans, and, for some, causing harm to others was of little concern. The writing was masterfully done and kept my interest the entire time. I thoroughly enjoyed the read, and it surpassed all my expectations.
