It also discusses the Kentucky Cavalry and the Partisan Rangers from 1862-1864. Many of the former members of the rangers contributed to incidents recorded in the book, and many of them are quite “swashbuckling” and exciting. The book has been re-formatted with a new Introduction. Footnotes and some new pictures have been added for a better reading experience.
