Synopsis

This book entitled “Rum & Raisin” intends to paint a picture, but not just any picture, a particular view of the world as it is from the perspective of the grass roots of society.

From day to day emotional expressions, to social decadence, to moral and political shortcomings; as well as the very nature of the soul and the identity of the self; all projected in vivid colourful details that allow the readers to immerse themselves in a world which few would be able to find otherwise on their own.

Some poems echo proverbial schools of thought, while others provoke periods of suspense followed by satisfaction in reaching their unknowable outcomes.

Following in the footsteps of other literary giants, Rum & Raisin is sure to create quite a stir in your normal cup of coffee and hopefully exceed your expectations with its bold fruitful flavours and rich rhythmic content.
