Synopsis
1997: A successful young woman leaves the Glastonbury Festival but never arrives at her intended destination. She is last seen outside a railway station in Bath – after that, no trace of her can be found. A police investigation turns up nothing. In London, her novelist brother reluctantly begins a search that lasts two decades, guided only by vague rumours and clues that may be dreams or fantasies, which lead him ultimately to the depths of a distant wilderness, to a place of peace, freedom, stunning beauty – and unimaginable horror.
