"A Collection of Community" brings together the voices of Mount Royal University's write club in a powerful exploration of tradition, companionship, and vision. This anthology showcases over twenty emerging writers who gathered weekly in within a clubhouse to their most vulnerable truths and forging a community that transcends the ordinary boundaries of academic life.
From poetry on marginalization to intimate reflections on friendship, from experimental fiction to heartfelt personal essays, these pieces invite readers into a space where vulnerability becomes strength. Here, a business major finds her voice in poetry, an anthropology student processes his experiences through haiku, and countless others discover that their words matter—that they belong in this gathering at the fringe, where the most authentic conversations happen.
