Synopsis
When Elliot Emory's advertising career is on the brink of collapse, he hatches a plan so outrageous it just might work: capture an actual Bigfoot to star in a shoe commercial. Armed with nothing but a tranquilizer gun, marshmallows, and his own inflated ego, Elliot leads an expedition into the California wilderness that includes his long-suffering assistant Barnie, a primatologist with questionable credentials, and a beautiful tabloid reporter who happens to be the primatologists ex-wife.
What begins as a desperate publicity stunt quickly descends into chaos as the group's SUV is destroyed, they get hopelessly lost, and mysterious creatures begin pelting their camp with rocks. Between navigating the bizarre backwoods inhabitants, managing his team's competing agendas, and possibly falling for his colleague's ex-wife who has her own agenda, Elliot discovers that finding Bigfoot might be the least of his problems.
