Synopsis
In my own battle to learn about the Book of Revelation I was soon frustrated after completing a Christian Book on the end-times. I had more questions than answers. My foundation on the word of God didn't improve even after reading many books from a Christian bookstore. How would I ever sort out the truth in the Bible? The engaging photo art by Andréa Hall represents three important biblical battles. First, there is an armored soldier. Believers are to put on the full armor of God as instructed in Ephesians Chapter 6. Ephesians 6:17 states “and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Our sword is God’s word. The Bible also tells us that the Word is Jesus (John 1:1). In the Book of Revelation, Jesus is the sword returning in the future. Second, the cover photo pictures an overwhelming dragon. The study of Revelation reveals much about the enemy Dragon that has battled God throughout time. Third, the cover photo reminds us of the fight to understand the book of Revelation. This study details a chapter-by- chapter chronology of Revelation. It is written from the perspective of a literal interpretation of Revelation and a pre-millennial view. After thirty years of study, I started to collect notes for my boys. I did not want them to feel lost in the word of God. This book grew out of a desire to learn more about the Book of Revelation, and to give my family and friends a place to begin when not knowing exactly where to start. In the beginning of my battle to understand Revelation, I was overwhelmed. But I have learned that we can understand Revelation and its timing. God wants us to win the battle for truth!
