Synopsis
It’s 2018, and President Martin’s approval ratings have gotten so low that re-election is in jeopardy unless he does something inspiring, and what can inspire people more than a mission to outer space? Under the guise of hosting a summit on international peace, President Martin invites the prime ministers of Palestine and Israel onboard Orion’s Shield.
Throughout the planning period, President Martin Mcleod has been haunted by dreams that foretell a space bound terrorist attack while he is on his selfish mission. His fears are allayed in Orion’s Shield, a team comprised of the top members of each branch of the military. Orion’s Shield’s sole purpose is to protect the international leaders while they discuss their disputes.
What no one yet knows is that many wish this mission will fail and that al-Qaeda has managed to infiltrate the International Space Station.
