Synopsis

Padre Pio always maintained a very special relationship with his Guardian Angel, whom he affectionately called “Angelino.” This relationship was not only intimate and constant—a presence from birth to death—but he also considered him a true friend, someone to talk with, confide his sufferings to, and ask for help in moments of anguish. For him, the Guardian Angel was a guide, protector, and loyal companion, always ready to defend us from temptations and evil. For this reason, Padre Pio taught practical advice so that everyone could live this closeness: to keep him present in mind and heart, to invoke him frequently, to trust in his protection, and to open one’s soul to him without reservation.

This book of 25 prayers and a powerful novena is inspired by the profound closeness that Padre Pio had with Angelino. It is designed to invoke the intercession of the holy Capuchin, asking him to protect us, keep us away from temptations, and cover us with the grace of God. It includes spaces to write intentions, beautiful historical images of Padre Pio, and biblical quotes that enrich every moment of prayer. In its pages, devotion is united with contemplation, allowing us to feel accompanied by our Guardian Angel at every step of the spiritual journey.
