A reclusive ghostwriter questions what is real or imagined.
Something terrible happened five years ago, but Sammy Paulson can't remember. After college, she cut herself off from nearly everyone, retreating to a secluded cabin in the Oregon mountains. She works as a ghostwriter for her only friend from college, James, a publisher. Happiest alone, she feels almost normal.
