Lee A. Benson, Sr., a retired high school science teacher from Dayton, Ohio, brings over three decades of teaching experience to his writing. Educating the youth of Dayton Public Schools, he inspired countless students with his passion for science and his unwavering commitment to guiding them toward brighter futures. Benson is a proud husband, father, Grandma and great grandfather, married to his wife, Neva Jean, for 52 years. Together, they produced seven children-four sons and three daughters-two of whom followed in their father's footsteps to become teachers. Two who are deceased, Ryan. Dwayne & Neva Jean II. In addition to his teaching career, Neva Jean played a vital role in running the family's business, Benson & Benson Vending, for two decades before her retirement. Family is at the heart of everything for Neva Jean And Lee Sr. do, and they have always cherished the strong bond they share with their children , grandchildren and great grandchildren Lee's upcoming second book centers on the tragic murder and death of his 18 year old son Ryan D.
