Before hundreds of believers, he claims that a divine spirit enters his body. His voice deepens. His eyes blaze. He speaks as though God Himself has descended. The crowd kneels. They believe.
Men and women said to be possessed by spirits are brought to him for “treatment.” Families hand over their loved ones, trusting the saint to cleanse them of darkness.
But behind the sacred chants and closed doors of the ashram lies a different truth.
