The Delivery Van Manifesto is a book compiled over a period of nearly ten years from journaling and freewriting I have done on the topics of social observation about the human condition, and how that condition can be improved by opening ourselves up to concepts of higher consciousness. It came about from moments I had as a delivery driver when I would write about these topics between pick-ups and deliveries during my workday. I used the downtime I had to explore these concepts with my mind, a pen, and many composition notebooks. This book is a challenge to the status quo of the elements within our society which control our day to day lives such as corporations, religions and governments. It is a stand against institutionalized prejudice, and the assumption that the modern human being should be nothing more than a productive biological machine employed by the powers that be to continually produce commodities for them at the expense of their very souls. It is a call to our spirit to take precedence over anything and everything within our lives, and to no longer allow anything to make it heel and beg for its own existence. It's about the right for the soul of humanity to exist and be the most important thing about our species. It's about no longer wanting to compromise and sacrifice any part of ourselves as human beings to an institutional system which deceives us into thinking that it cares for us in order to get everything out of us that it can before we are too old to produce for it any longer. It is a fight to be emancipated from a world which only values us as indentured servants who produce nothing but wealth and profit for their bank accounts. I hope you enjoy reading this selection as much as I have enjoyed the process of writing about it.
