Synopsis
Widowed and intending to be remembered for something, sixty-two-year-old B-movie actor, Irving Isaiah Hemlock, plans on living life on his terms. Never a famous actor, only someone in his last act, Irving finds recognition for a movie he did over decades ago that has become a cult classic, with a possible remake. Pulling out all the stops and ignoring his helicopter children, Irving buys an RV for his upcoming Comic Con conventions across the United States. Along the way, Irving encounters strange new people, finds he isn't too old for passion, reconnects with old friends and his past, and takes in two stray dogs who might outlive him. Will Irving be remembered, and will he find a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame before he gets a gravestone marker, or will his kids drive him crazy? A heartfelt story of redemption and finding out what you can still do when life has thrown you turnips instead of roses.
