Synopsis
Andrew Travis stayed up all night studying for final exams. After he completed his texts, he found himself coerced into going to a bar with his friends to celebrate. Not thinking himself impaired, Andy drove home and unfortunately fell asleep at the wheel, crashing into a car, killing a grandmother and her young granddaughter. Andy finds himself charged with two counts of manslaughter, but worse, he suffers from horrendous guilt and shame.
Cassandra Simpson, the mother of young Maggie and daughter of Sylvia Thompson, the two victims in the accident, is overcome by grief, anger, rage, and bitterness. Her marriage soon falls apart, and life becomes unbearable.
This is the story of two tortured souls, each dealing with their demons, which threatens to destroy them both.
