As a pastor who has served in different economic and social settings, I have witnessed the effects of poverty on the community. When the community’s economy is weak, everyone is affected. Nevertheless, it is the responsibility of each person to order their financial life to withstand the harsh economic realities they find themselves in. Political leaders must also act responsibly to ensure that the citizenry is empowered to become financially strong, and they should be held accountable accordingly. It is natural to blame politicians and big businesses. Still, it must be noted that whatever political or economic condition a person finds him/herself in, it is his/her responsibility to manage his/her financial affairs to attain personal wealth.
While I don’t claim to be a financial expert, I can relate to Voltaire’s sentiment that “It is easier to write about money than to acquire it.” However, I am using this book to share some insights on wise money management. The book aims to inspire readers to develop themselves as they pursue life’s best and strive for wealth.
The principles of discipline, care, determination, and wisdom will determine personal development, wealth creation, and the quality of life we experience. As you read, please be prayerful in seeking God’s guidance, diligent in learning, and applying the principles presented throughout this book.
