Synopsis

One quiet choice. One hidden promise. One God who keeps His word.
When a ruthless queen seizes the throne of Judah and begins destroying the royal family, a young princess named Jehosheba faces an impossible decision: stay silent and safe, or risk everything to protect the last surviving heir, baby Joash. With courage stronger than fear, Jehosheba hides him in the temple for seven long years, guarding God’s promise while danger prowls outside the gates.
Today, kids face different battles — broken friendships, peer pressure, and choices that test their courage. In this modern-day parable, Charleigh discovers what it means to protect what matters when she finds herself holding secrets, standing up for friends, and trusting God when doing the right thing costs more than she expected.
In this modern-day Bible story children’s book from the Children of the Word Series, kids will:

• Step into Jehosheba’s world and experience her journey of faith and hidden courage.
• Connect through a modern-day parable featuring Charleigh as she learns to protect what matters.
• Discover an action plan designed to help kids apply biblical truths to their real-world challenges.

Perfect for kids ages 6–12, this book brings Scripture to life through relatable storytelling and a gentle reminder:
“Sometimes the quietest courage changes everything.
God uses even small acts of faith to protect His biggest promises.”
Whether for bedtime reading, Sunday school, homeschool lessons, or family devotionals, Jehosheba — The Princess Who Saved a Future King will inspire children to trust God’s timing and be faithful with what He places in their hands.
