Computing is no longer a skill reserved for computer scientists. Across disciplines, students are expected to work with data, understand digital technologies, and apply computational thinking to solve increasingly complex problems. As a result, educators are rethinking how computing is taught, moving beyond traditional programming courses toward approaches that make computational concepts meaningful and accessible for learners from diverse academic backgrounds. This shift requires teaching strategies that connect theory with real-world applications while supporting collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. Preparing students for a technology-driven future depends not only on what they learn about computing, but also on how effectively those concepts can be translated into their own disciplines and professional practice. Translational Computing Pedagogies for Interdisciplinary Classrooms explores how foundational computing concepts can be translated into meaningful learning experiences across a wide range of academic disciplines. This book examines innovative approaches to curriculum design, teaching, assessment, and interdisciplinary collaboration that help students develop computational thinking and digital problem-solving skills. Covering topics such as psychological safety in multidisciplinary computing classrooms, continuous quality improvement, and creation-oriented culture, this book is an indispensable academic resource for graduate and doctoral students, educators, instructional designers, curriculum developers, educational technology developers, policymakers, and more.
