Adventure Groms started in a pretty unexpected way. After more than 15 years of action sports photography, I had a stroke in 2023 that left me unable to photograph the sports I loved the way I had before. Coloring became part of my recovery and helped me work on rebuilding my motor skills. That's when I started transforming my own action sports photography into coloring pages, and the idea for Adventure Groms was sparked.

Tyler Ennis is the creator of Adventure Groms, an action sports and outdoor coloring book series inspired by more than 15 years of experience as an action sports photographer. After surviving a rare stroke at age 31, he created Adventure Groms as a new way to stay connected to the sports and outdoor adventures he has loved throughout his life. His books encourage kids to be creative, stay active, and explore everything from bikes, boards, racing, and motorsports to fishing, camping, and the outdoors.
