The friends are shaking the dust from their nooks, sweeping out old leaves, and making space for something special.
But Hop refuses to clean.
He clutches dried-up leaves.
Broken acorns.
Old “treasures” he’s afraid to release.
“What if I need them?” he worries.
His space grows cluttered and crowded.
And there’s no room left for the beautiful festival table.
The Cozy Nook doesn’t feel very cozy when fear of change fills the air.
Luckily, Slow-Mo brings out something gentle and wise — the Goodbye Box.
Together, they sort.
They hold each old treasure.
They whisper, “Thank you.”
And they place it lovingly into the box to return to the earth.
Slowly, space begins to open.
Soon, the friends set up the beautiful Haft-Sin table — seven special symbols of Nowruz:
- Fresh green sprouts for rebirth
- Apples for beauty
- Coins for prosperity
…and more signs of hope and renewal
As Hop watches the bright green sprouts grow, he begins to understand:
