When a rabbit makes his way home after his morning breakfast, he comes across a sleeping fox. The rabbit careful not to wake the sleeping fox, tries to make his way past him, without waking the fox, until rabbit nearly falls into a hole, waking the fox. Noticing the fox was not looking in his direction. As it accord to the rabbit that the fox is blind. However the fox does show rabbit that he can get along with his other senses, that have grown stronger, when he shows the rabbit by chasing him around the forest. After the fox proves what he is capable, of he tells the rabbit that he is not interested in making friends but to be left alone. Later while the fox naps, he hears a cry for help, a cry coming from what sounds like the rabbit. Hesitant, the fox not able to go back to sleep, goes to see what danger that rabbit has gotten himself into. He sees that an eagle is flying close by, picks up the rabbit and trys to fly away with him. That is until the fox stops him. Once the rabbit is safe, the fox goes off alone. The rabbit goes back to ask the fox if he would allow him to thank the fox for saving his life with lunch. As he sees the fox on the road, he notices the fox is in the path of a large black bear. Thinking quick, the rabbit gets the fox to fallow him to some bushes, without alearting the bear, who is right behind him, but it is to late as the bear hears the call and attacks the fox. The rabbit quickly jumps in and to distract the bear away from the fox before he attacks again. Later, once the fox and rabbit get away from the bear, they find their way to the river. While reaching down to get a drink from the river, they both fall in and find themselves heading towards a waterfall. When they some how find a way out of the dangerous situation. They look for the path home, when they find they are lost, plus wet and cold, so now they are looking for shelter as well. Since fox smells the change in the weather, there is a storm on the horizon. As they find shelter in a trunk of an old tree. They discover while in the trunk, they are not alone, as hissing is heard from behind them. "A SNAKE!!" Rabbit yells out, as he warns the fox. As rabbit dives at the snake to keep it from attacking the fox, while the fox blindside the snake and swat it. After the rain let up, the Fox and Rabbit head for home, Rabbit's home. There they discuss their day and the adventure that lead them to the realization that two creatures known to be enemies, have become best of friends.
