Synopsis

What if God used the passage you thought you already understood to draw you closer to Himself?

While searching for a different verse in Matthew 25, Nathlee R. Grant unexpectedly found herself lingering over the Parable of the Ten Virgins. What began as a simple Bible study became a deeply personal journey of discovery, revealing that the Bridegroom was not merely explaining a parable-He was inviting her into a deeper relationship with Himself.

In Waiting for the Bridegroom, each chapter explores a question that naturally arises from the opening thirteen verses of Matthew 25, leading readers beyond familiar interpretations to fresh reflections on waiting, watchfulness, readiness, abiding, and the joy of knowing Christ. Rather than offering a technical commentary, this book gently invites readers to slow down, remain in God's Word, and listen for the voice of the Bridegroom.

Written in a warm, conversational style, this contemplative pilgrimage reminds us that the greatest purpose of Scripture is not simply to increase our knowledge of God, but to deepen our fellowship with Him.

Whether you are reading Matthew 25 for the first time or have studied it for years, this book will encourage you to pause, reflect, and discover the beauty of remaining with Christ.

Because sometimes the greatest discoveries are found when we stop rushing through God's Word...

...and simply remain with the Bridegroom.
