Synopsis

When ghosts from the past drive Fortress Security operative Grant Bowen from his bed to run in the early morning hours, he doesn't expect to stumble across an injured woman. As his past collides with his present trouble, an assassin targets the woman Grant's falling for, doggedly pursuing him with fatal intent and putting every person Grant cares about in his crosshairs. Grant will do anything to save Rayne, including taking on a killer leaving a trail of dead bodies in his wake.

To Rayne Weatherly, a member of the Artemis team, the past should stay where it belongs--in the rearview mirror. But when a killer comes after Rayne and the police view her with suspicion, she vows to fight back. Joining forces with a Fortress operative with the skills to combat their adversary, Rayne and Grant rely on each other and their training to protect their teams and themselves while hunting for a man consumed with the need for revenge.
