Some stories choose us, rather than the other way around. "The Poverty Line" is not just a tale; it is a lived experience-the dirt I walked on barefoot, the hunger in my belly, the darkness in rooms, and the light I had to find within myself.
This book is about survival-not just of the body, but of dignity, dreams, and self-worth. I wrote it for the millions of children who wake up without clean water, a meal, or a bed, yet still dare to hope. For those who've slept on cold floors and been told their stories don't matter, I wrote this because I was that boy-overlooked, underestimated, and unheard.

William Charles
My name is William Charles, and I was born and partially raised in Haiti-a place that shaped not only my roots but also my outlook on life. I've always carried a deep yearning for experiences that are full of giving, caring, fun, and excitement. Life has been my teacher, and every chapter of it has pushed me to grow, learn, and share.
Over the years, I've worn many hats: leader, life coach, sales coach, mentor, and most importantly, a student of people. What excites me most is helping others discover their passion and purpose. I believe we all carry something powerful inside us, and sometimes we just need the right spark-or the right story-to bring it out.
I spend a lot of time learning about human behavior, not just in books but in real conversations and relationships. Every connection teaches me something new about the courage it takes to dream, the struggles people face, and the resilience that carries them forward. Those lessons find their way into my writing.
For me, writing isn't just about telling a story-it's about building a bridge. I write to connect with people who are searching for meaning, for strength, or simply for a reminder that they are not alone. My hope is that through my words, you'll not only see my journey but also feel inspired to reflect on your own.
Because at the end of the day, our stories are what connect us-and maybe yours, like mine, has only just begun.
