Today‟s world is the information world, where everyone needs information for something or other. There are still high numbers of literature available in Science, Social Science, and Humanities which are not included in Web of Science and Scopus. So the libraries face a lot of problems in identifying publications those are useful to the users. Bibliometric study is very useful in that regards if conducted by the librarians carefully.
