Synopsis

There's something fowl on the Rooftop!

Birdie Lopez snagged the gig as the photographer for Moon's Landing's local newspaper, and while the paycheck isn't breaking any records, the perks are sweet. Plus, she's got a soft spot for helping out her best friend, who's trying to keep the struggling paper afloat.

Life takes a wild turn when Birdie stumbles onto a crime scene up on the newspaper office's rooftop. Suddenly, she's not just capturing snapshots of the town; she's the only one who saw a murder go down-talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Up on the roof, there's this cool bird aviary with messenger pigeons doing their thing. The plot thickens when Birdie digs into the last message they got, signed by someone with the initials T.D. It's a warning that's got the word "dire" written all over it, and it's aimed straight at the newspaper.

Now, here's the burning question: Who's the mysterious sender of this ominous heads-up? Birdie's about to peel back the layers of Moon's Landing, revealing secrets, shady dealings, and hidden motives. In her quest for answers, she's not just saving a newspaper; she's untangling a mess that could shake the very core of the town.

"Murder by Copy" is the third installment of the lively Birdie Lopez Two-Hour Read Cozy Mystery series.
