Synopsis

A simple getaway. A chance to escape the supernatural. But as a ghostly screech pierces the night and an angry spirit paces the floor, it seems secrets aren't the only things buried on the island.

Sam thought a lakeside getaway would be a perfect escape for all of them. What could be better than unwinding amidst legends and lighthouses? But when an ancient banshee's wail shatters the peace, and a spectral captain emerges with a centuries-old vendetta, their vacation veers into the uncanny.

Bound by the curse that links them to the island's troubled past, they must unravel a tapestry woven with maritime misfortunes and a lighthouse keeper's guilt. As they bridge the gap between eras, the friends find that the island's eerie history is penning a new chapter-with them at its center.

Can they exorcise the ghosts of the past before history's dark ink ensnares them too?

Banshees and Bloody Marys is the chilling third book in the Mystic on the Rocks paranormal cozy mystery series. If you're a fan of mystery, history, and the supernatural, you'll love Lynn M. Stout's journey through a nautical nightmare

About this title

About the Author

Lynn M. Stout grew up wandering the streets of Historic Downtown Jonesboro, Tennessee where she absorbed the town's rich history, fed her active imagination, and twisted her ankle on cobblestones.

She is an unapologetic voyeur when it comes to old houses and has an unhealthy obsession with creepy staircases. She loves research and enjoys a deep dive into old stories, especially if a ghost is involved.

She is married to her amazing and supportive husband of thirty years and is happy to report that she still likes him very much.

As a recent empty-nester, she is finding adventure in Michigan and is pleasantly surprised to find that her southern roots don't object to cooler weather at all.

She enjoys long walks with the Boxer, cuddling with her freakishly large cats, a good bottle (or two) of wine, and will continue to love Tennessee Volunteer Football no matter how bad it gets.
